Makecode arcade is a beginner friendly web based development environment that uses block based coding to create custom pixel video games. This platform serves as a wonderful tool to allow for the creation of custom video games allowing players to control the visual presentation, speed, sound, and game mechanics to meet their needs. Games are available to play on a variety of platforms and are keyboard accessible making it ideal for beginner switch users.

Over the past few years, our chapter has been holding in person and virtual events to teach the possibilities of this platforms and are hoping to build a repository of one or two switch games. See the Padlet below and feel free to add your own!
